Photos taken around the southern half of Transylvania, Romania—mainly Brașov and Bran, but also while touring through the Carpathian villages of Măgura ('hillock'), Șirnea, Fundata, Moieciu de Sus (upper Moieciu) and Moieciu de Jos (lower Moieciu), before continuing north past Poenari Citadel along the winding Transfăgărășan road, with its steep hillsides and waterfalls, to Bâlea Lake and onward to the Saxon fortress town of Sibiu.
